What a beautifully written reflection.

I believe that the need for validation from others is, at first, a very human thing. But when everything falls away, space is created for reflection and inner contemplation. Perhaps that is necessary, because otherwise we remain too focused on ourselves"Look at me. See me."

It is often only when you have truly reached rock bottom that you begin to ask yourself, "What do I really need?" It is within that vulnerability that many people discover faith or come to a deeper understanding of what truly matters in life.

Then you begin to realize that it is not success, recognition, or material possessions that bring lasting fulfillment, but your connection with God, the Universe, or something greater than yourself. It is there that you ultimately find the strength, the peace, and the love you have been searching for.

I agree with you deeply. Wanting to be seen is human. Wanting to be understood is human. But sometimes God allows everything outside of us to fall away so we can finally come face to face with what our soul has been asking for all along.

Rock bottom has a way of stripping away the noise. The applause, the approval, the material things, the need to be noticed — all of it starts to lose its power. And in that quiet place, we begin to realize we were never really searching for validation. We were searching for connection. We were searching for peace. We were searching for God.

That vulnerability becomes sacred ground. It is where we stop asking the world to complete us and start remembering that the love we needed was already within us, waiting to be awakened.

Thank you for sharing this wisdom, my sister. Your words carry truth and light. 🕊✨

Excellent wisdom, my friend! 💯

I love the part where you said, “You begin to understand that your value was never in being chosen by people.” because it’s so important that we remember that we’re all created equal and that our inherent worth and value does not hinge on something as fragile as validation from others.

Because, as you noted, “applause fades. Opinions change. People switch sides.” And that means that a quest for validation from all is unlikely to go well; whereas recognizing our inherent & unalienable worth & value that we are all created with is a solid foundation. 🙏

I hope that you have a blessed day! ❤️
